About Set
Bruce needs a hero.
Every hero has an origin story - and Bruce's begins in the shadows. This handsome boy has likely spent much of his life surviving on the streets, watching the world carefully from a distance and learning to rely on himself.
The shelter isn't exactly his idea of a safe headquarters, and his slightly unimpressed expression tells you he'd much rather be somewhere quieter. But behind that serious face is a gentle, loyal heart. Bruce isn't one for drama or chaos; he's calm, observant, and quietly brave. When he feels safe, he leans in for a soft pat - his small but powerful way of saying he trusts you.
In very typical fashion, Bruce also spends a lot of his time at nigh - fighting crime.
His evening activities can be, well, questionable. Think mysterious thuds, sudden zoomies, and the occasional crash in the middle of the night as he carries out his important duties. Rest assured, by morning he'll be back to his usual watchful, composed self, as if nothing ever happened.
Adopting Bruce is more than giving a cat a home, it's answering the call to be someone's safe place. You'll be giving him the chance to finally relax, let his guard down, and learn that he doesn't have to patrol the world alone anymore.
Because even the bravest night watchers deserve somewhere soft to land.
Bruce is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Bruce - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
