About Twister
Meet Twister! Twister was dumped at a vet with her mum and 5 siblings at a young age. Twister is a sweet, chilled-out girl with a beautiful black and white medium-length coat that’s just as soft as her personality. She loves nothing more than curling up on your lap for a cosy snooze or soaking up gentle pats and cuddles. Twister pretty laid-back and easy to please, the perfect mix of calm and playful. When the mood strikes, she enjoys zooming around with her siblings and joining in on the fun before settling back down for another nap. She has grown up in care with other cats, a friendly dog, and teenagers, and is well socialised and ready to fit right into family life. Come meet Twister and let her twist her way into your heart! Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
