About Jolly
Jolly by name and by nature is a 3 year old mastiff X, male.
This sweet boy’s zest for life and goofy character will guarantee you smiles and laughter. Jolly’s favourite things are balls and toys, and he can happily entertain himself playing for hours in the backyard (although playtime is even more fun when his people are involved). He loves food, which makes him easy to train. Since arriving into foster care, he has learnt to sit, drop, shake, walk on a loose lead while wearing a halti, go to his bed on command, and to wait for a cue before eating. He is also house trained.
Inside, Jolly loves to chill on his bed, close to his people. He enjoys exploring the world on daily walks, and travels very well in a car. While in foster care he has visited outdoor cafes and been to a farm where he was fine with farm animals. Jolly has no problem being alone at home with enrichment toys (and balls, of course!) while his people are at work during the day.
At only 3 years old and around 40kg, Jolly is looking for a forever home where his new owners will continue his training and have clear boundaries, as he loves to do the right thing and is eager to please. Jolly has lived with children, though he may be too big to be around young ones so children 10 years old and over would be best. He has been an only-dog while in foster care, but was good with other dogs while at a rural pound.
