About Sterling
Introducing Sterling - A distinguished 10-year-old silver gentleman with a heart as soft as his fur! đ€
He was saved from Wollongong after facing an awful fate at the pound.
Found wandering the streets in July, this beautiful boy was added to the euthanasia list when space ran out. We received the call for help and we stepped in to give him his fresh start and his very own Ninth Life.
We may not know where his story started or what heâs faced along the way, but weâre making sure it ends in love.
Sterling is the epitome of gentleness; he melts under chin rubs and head scratches, purrs constantly and adores every bit of attention he gets. A brush session or playtime with his fluffy wand brings out his inner kitten, reminding us that age is just a number. A soft, melodic meow is his signature hello; sweet, gentle and full of love.
This graceful fellow is seeking a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and companionship. If youâre hoping for a devoted, affectionate friend who will bring calm and joy into your life, Sterling could be your perfect match!
Medical notes
Sterling has a grade 3/6 heart murmur, which means his heart makes a little extra âwhooshâ when it beats. It doesnât bother him at all and many cats live long, happy lives with this.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attentionâŠeven devotion. Youâll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming â a great way to bond- as they often donât have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and youâll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
