Meet Diamond!
Diamond is an affectionate and sweet 11-month-old Bull Arab/Australian Cattle Dog mix who's ready to find her forever home. This young girl has a gentle heart and loves being close to her people, leaning in for pats and affection once she feels comfortable.
Diamond can be a little unsure in new environments and when meeting new people, so she'll need a patient owner who can give her time to settle in. A calm home with structure and routine will help her feel safe and confident. She's best suited to a household with older children who understand her need for space at times.
When it comes to walks, Diamond can become overwhelmed in unfamiliar places and may chew on the lead. We recommend starting lead training in the yard, then gradually introducing quiet, familiar areas for walks. She's still learning about toys but may enjoy playtime more once she feels secure at home.
Diamond has shown she can be social and playful with other dogs, though she does like to jump on her friends! She'll need to meet any potential doggie companions at the time of adoption and would do best with a tolerant, playful friend.
