Meet Miss Dixie, a loving Rotty with a big heart who thrives in the company of her humans. She instantly charms everyone with her gentle demeanor and caring nature, embodying kindness to all she meets—both people and other animals. Dixie is a curious soul, always eager to explore her surroundings. With the right guidance and attention, she promises to be a devoted and wonderful companion, bringing joy and laughter to any household.
Dixie loves to be around people and is known for her calm and affectionate nature. She revels in quiet moments as much as she enjoys being part of a bustling household. Excitement lights up her face when she sees people, be they kids or adults. When out for walks, she delights in discovering new sights and smells, exploring with boundlessenergy while remaining gentle and friendly on the lead. Despite her excitement to meet other dogs while out on a walk Dixie shows no real enthusiams when given the chance to play or interact with them she definitely enjoys human company more.
Highly intelligent, Dixie responds well to training and knows basic commands. Continued learning will only enhance her role as a loyal and well-behaved companion. She has a relaxed attitude towards food, enjoying her meals and a few snacks throughout the day, making her an easygoing pal. She might be independent enough to be comfortable outside if needed, but her true joy lies in being surrounded by the people she loves.
Dixie cares little for toys, preferring instead the warmth of her family's company. She sleeps comfortably indoors at night, enjoying her mornings soaking up the sun and company in equal measure. With simple grooming needs, a warm shower outdoors is a treat for her, making her care routine stress-free for both Dixie and her family.
The ideal home for Dixie is one where she is loved and included in family life. She needs ample attention and mental stimulation to be at her happiest. With a secure yard that allows for outdoor relaxation and daily human interaction, Dixie will bask in the happiness brought by her caring, gentle nature. Medical
Dixie has had a full Dental including teeth clean and also TPO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) and has now fully recovered.

Adoption Criteria
A home where she will be loved and adored and taken on adventures with her Family
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children
A home where she can sleep inside with her family
A secure yard, medium to large size with shade and grass and secure fencing
A home where she is the only dog as we feel she would much prefer this
Not tested with cats
