About Lainey
Lainey is a stunning black merle German Shorthaired Pointer with a big personality to match her looks. She is energetic, intelligent, and thrives in a home that can provide her with training, socialisation, and plenty of stimulation. Zoomies are always on the cards when she gets excited, but she does settle down and loves following her people around for pats and attention. At night, she's happiest snuggled up in bed with her humans. Lainey has lived with children and adores meeting new people, making her a lovely fit for a family who can include her in daily life. She has also lived with another dog, a cat, and a bird, but she is still working on her social skills and would be best as the only dog for now. She can be boisterous with cats and is very interested in birds, so experienced management around smaller pets is recommended. Food is truly her greatest love-long-lasting chews, puzzle feeders, or anything left unattended are all fair game. This makes her highly trainable but also a bit cheeky with her scavenging. She is known for chewing up toys, so durable options are a must. Lainey is looking for an active home that can embrace her lively nature while giving her structure and ongoing guidance. With the right family, she will be a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion who fills life with energy and love.
