About Maverick
🐾Special home needed for Maverick - A Gentle Soul Ready to Shine 🐾
Maverick, Rottweiler mix, a 10-month-old boy in need of some TLC
Say hello to Maverick - a stunning Rottie mix with a heart as big as his paws and a love for life that's truly contagious.
Maverick is seeking a foster home with the potential to adopt. Maverick is a people-loving pup who thrives on affection and companionship. He's wonderfully social with other dogs and would be delighted to have a canine buddy to share his days with - though he's just as happy soaking up cuddles from him humans.
Entering our care smaller than expected for his age and underweight, this gentle boy is currently in need of some TLC as he works on regaining his ideal weight.
BARC's vet team wants to monitor Maverick's weight gain journey, and all medical check-ups will be provided by BARC at no cost to his foster carer.
Maverick requires a Bendigo based foster carer and would thrive in an inclusive foster home with:
✅ A secure environment
✅ Lots of love, patience, and gentle encouragement
✅ A comfy bed, kind words, and some tasty snacks
✅ Another friendly, socialised and vaccinated dog (a bonus, but not essential) in which to learn and from.
If you can open your heart and home to Maverick, he'll repay you with endless affection, loyalty, and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes. 🐶
Let's help Maverick find the loving home he's been waiting for - because every dog deserves a chance to shine. 💕
As stated, our foster program is only available to Bendigo Residents. Applying is as simple as completing the form on our website www.bendigoanimalreliefcentre.com.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
