About Scout
Hi I’m Scout a 5 year old female Kelpie who's a real sweetie and looking for my forever home!
I can sometimes be a little timid but I’m super affectionate especially with my humans and i love dogs but like a little time to get to know them. Busy dog parks are a lot for me as I like my personal space. I’m an active girl who loves to play fetch but I’m not too ball obsessed and will also enjoy sniffing and exploring. I then have a good off switch and love to snuggle and hang out with my fam.
My foster family think im very well behaved with good recall, house manners, no jumping, and off lead walking. Im working on not pulling to much on the lead. I love my food but am also polite and will wait if asked. I sleep peacefully overnight inside next to my foster siblings.
My forever home will need a home with a secure back yard. I would manage as an only dog as long as my parents were home often or could take me to work on occasions, however I would prefer a home with another doggo friend. I havnt been tested with other animals. I’ll need parents that understand my needs, take me lots of walks, playing fetch and continue my training.
If I sound like the dog for you please fill out the adoption form and apply for me!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
