About Rag Doll
Meet Rag Doll - The Tabby King of Kings
13 years old, desexed male who's definitely not a purebred Ragdoll!!
Rag Doll (in namesake only) is a senior gentleman who entered our care at BARC with no one ever coming forward to reclaim him.
Though his microchip mislabeled his breed and provided no name for this boy, we've lovingly named him Rag Doll-a name that suits his calm, composed nature and majestic presence.
During his time with us, Rag Doll has ruled his domain with quiet grace and poise.
He's not one to be in everyone's business-he prefers to observe the world from his throne (or a cozy windowsill), choosing when and with whom he wishes to engage.
This dignified boy interacts on his own terms, making the bond he forms with his chosen humans all the more special and deeply rewarding.
With his classic tabby coat and one iconic facial expression (think Grumpy Cat), Rag Doll might look unimpressed, but don't let that fool you-he's a sweet soul with a heart full of affection.
His expression may never change, but his mood certainly does-he's full of warmth and charm once you earn his trust.
Rag Doll is seeking a quieter home, ideally with older kids (if any), and would prefer to be the only cat so he can soak up all the attention. He's perfect for someone who appreciates the quiet companionship of a senior cat and wants to give a deserving boy the forever he deserves.
If you're ready to welcome a charming, expressive, and loving older cat into your life, Rag Doll is waiting to meet you. Give this tabby king his throne-and he'll give you his heart.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
