About Maggie
Meet Maggie! 🐾
Maggie is a boisterous, affectionate 10‑month‑old black and white puppy who is absolutely brimming with personality. She's the kind of dog who believes everyone is a friend she just hasn't met yet-and she's always thrilled to prove it!
Super friendly with both people and other dogs, Maggie's enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of her, especially when greeting new canine pals. She's still learning her manners and would benefit from some ongoing training to help her master polite hellos and everyday life skills. With guidance, consistency, and a sense of humour, this clever girl will shine.
Maggie is looking for an active home that can match her energy, keep her mentally and physically engaged, and help her learn the ropes of grown‑up dog life. In return, she'll give endless affection, joyful zoomies, and a whole lot of love.
If you're ready for a fun‑loving, social butterfly of a pup and excited to help Maggie become the best dog she can be, she might just be the perfect addition to your family. 💕
As Maggie is currently in foster, meet and greets are being run strictly by appointment only.
To book a meet and greet with Maggie, please contact the BARC team by phone or email: 03 5441 2209, barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries requesting a specific appointment, and including phone contact details, will receive a prioritised response over generic applications to meet an animal. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
