About Bender
🐾 Meet Bender – Not for the Faint of Heart 🐾
Looking for a dog who lives life at full throttle? Meet Bender – a complete nutter in all the best ways. This little guy is all in, all the time.
Bender is absolutely obsessed with toys – especially balls – and would literally die of happiness if you threw one for him all day. He’s a self-entertaining machine and a tug-of-war champion. If you’re up for a game, he’s already waiting at the other end of the rope.
He loves people with every fibre of his little body and greets them with enthusiasm (and sometimes airborne acrobatics). He’s full of drive, full of beans, and full of love – but he’s not your average chill lapdog. Bender’s ideal day includes games, training, more games, and a good nap in the air conditioning.
🏡 Ideal Home:
- Someone with breed or brachycephalic (smoosh-faced dog) experience.
- A home with air conditioning – this little unit runs hot and needs to stay cool.
- An owner committed to ongoing training – especially around lead manners and helping him channel that extra enthusiasm
- Someone who enjoys interactive play – tug, fetch, brain games – this is what fills Bender’s cup but also understands that being a Frenchie his body has it's limitations.
⚡ Energy Level:
Outside: High energy, loves to play hard.
Inside: Has learned to switch off and settle in his crate or on his bed. He can chill – after you’ve worn him out a bit!
👶 Kids?
Bender loves people, but let’s be honest – he treats humans like agility equipment.
Best suited to a home with confident, dog-savvy kids aged 10–12+ who won’t be knocked over or overwhelmed by his enthusiasm.
🐶 Other Pets?
Dogs: Has done well with others, especially females. He will guard his toys, so needs supervision and management around other dogs.
Cats: Not tested, but based on his bird-chasing and sheep-barking hobbies, we’d say probably not a good match for cats or small animals.
💬 In Summary:
Bender is a one-of-a-kind, full-throttle kind of dog. He’ll thrive with someone who embraces his energy, sees the fun in his antics, and is ready to put in the time and structure he needs. If you’ve got the experience, the love of games, and the desire to give this pocket rocket a life full of enrichment and training, Bender might just be your perfect match.
Ready to keep up with Bender? Strap in – it’s going to be a fun ride.
Medical notes
Has had BOAS surgery to assist with his breathing.
