About Luna
đ Meet Luna â A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start đ
đHaberfield, Sydney
Name of Cat: Luna
Microchip No.: 941000023203723
Breed: Domestic Short Hair (possibly Siamese or Himalayan mix)
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: 1 October 2019 (6 years old)
Colour: Lynx (Tabby Point)
Adoption fee: $200 + $50 lifetime registration
Luna is a beautiful and gentle girl with a heart full of love to give. Sadly, she has been surrendered through no fault of her own. Over the past few years, her relationship with her ownersâ older cat has deteriorated, and instead of becoming closer, theyâve grown apart â leaving Luna feeling anxious and unsettled. Her owners made the difficult decision to help her find a new home where she can finally relax and thrive. đ
This sweet girl may be timid and anxious at first, but once she feels safe and trusts you, her affectionate and playful side shines through. She adores cheek rubs, playtime, and gentle attention.
âš Lunaâs Favourite Things:
đ Playing with scrunchy balls, rattly mice, and balls of wool
đ Birthday and Christmas mornings (she loves the wrapping paper!)
đ Treats â sheâs very food motivated and can be won over with snacks
đ Quiet companionship once she feels secure
Luna would be happiest in a calm home where she can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves. She would do well with gentle children who can give her space to build confidence at her own pace.
She is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/wormed and litter trained â all ready for her next chapter.
If youâre looking for a gentle companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Luna will reward you with loyalty, sweetness, and her quiet, beautiful spirit. đ
đ© Apply now to meet Luna and give her the safe, loving home sheâs been waiting for.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitmentâboth emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. Weâll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, weâd love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, weâll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isnât the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
