Frankie - 4 Year Old Domestic Short Hair

Frankie has journeyed far and wide in search of his forever family… quite literally! After first coming into care, this clever boy quietly slipped out of his carer’s home and spent the next three months wandering the world on his own. During that time, he faced some tough days attacked by other cats and struggling to find enough food until the amazing team at Milly’s Search and Rescue finally brought him safely home.

When Frankie first arrived, he was scared, unsure, and let out the occasional hiss to remind everyone just how brave he’d been. But beneath that tough exterior was a gentle, loving soul just waiting to be seen and it didn’t take long for his true personality to shine through.

Frankie absolutely loves affection and can’t get enough of a good pat or a gentle head scratch. He’s a professional head bopper who greets you with soft nudges and adores mealtime truthfully, he loves all food. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he’s happiest simply being near you, soaking up love in his own calm way.

These days, Frankie enjoys the simple things in life: a warm spot to nap, good company, and plenty of love. He carries a few little scars from his time on the run, but they only add to his charm and tell the story of just how resilient he is.

Frankie would be perfectly suited to a calm home, perhaps with someone who works full-time. He gets along well with other cats, though his feline companions should be relaxed and easygoing. He’s also friendly with kids who understand how to respect his space. Most of all, Frankie is looking for someone kind and patient who will give him the safety, love, and belonging he’s spent so long searching for.

Frankie must be an indoor-only cat, where he’ll be safe and adored for the rest of his days.

He’s currently in foster care in Cardiff, NSW. Frankie is desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and thanks to a generous donation, his adoption fee has been fully covered.
