About Mawmaw
Mawmaw requires the following in her new home:
- People willing to give her plenty of cuddles and pats.
- Can live with another desexed quiet cat but needs her own space.
- Can live with children 12 years and older.
- Patience while she feels comfortable in her new home.
- An inside only cat with the exception of an outdoor cat enclosure.
Mawmaw is a deeply affectionate lass who will love on her humans almost endlessly. She is fond of finding cosy spots to curl up where she can have a good view of what the household is doing whilst she rests. She can adapt to quiet, tolerant cats who are happy to be roomies but not mates. She can live with cat savvy older children and respectful dogs.
Mawmaw is very shy in new environments and needs to be shown patience and understanding as she adapts. Until recently she was still with her three older daughters, and they were very close. Being apart from them has been a big adjustment for her. (see note)
Mawmaw is litter trained, and she needs to be an inside only cat except for having access to an outdoor cat enclosure. She frequently visits the outdoor cat enclosure in her foster home and would very much love to have one in her furever home please.
Note: Mawmaw’s daughters Andarna and Paedyn are also available for adoption. And there is Adina who is not available for adoption yet. Please email the rescue for more information.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
