About Peanut
Introducing Peanut, a perfect little gentleman who is as sweet as they come. This boy is rather timid as he had quite a tough time before coming into care. However, he has shown bouts of pure joy and loves to be picked up and cuddled. He is also happy to do his own thing and spend time resting in the garden when he is not with his people. Peanut seldom barks but will let out a little sound when he wants your attention.
Peanut is a small dog and weighs about 6 kilograms. He was quite underweight when he came into care as his teeth weren’t in the best shape. He had to have most of his teeth removed but he has thrived now that he no longer has a sore mouth. His fur is as soft and lovely to stroke and his bushy tail is constantly wagging. He requires some grooming but mostly a gentle brush; Peanut also behaves perfectly when getting a bath. At seven years of age, Peanut has a lot to offer the right household as he is a gentle soul who will flourish now that he has had the medical care he needed and is being fed nutritious food.
Although he is currently fostered with 3 other dogs, male and female, Peanut would particularly suit as an only companion dog for someone who is home more often than not. He loves going for short walks and walks gently on a loose lead. Although he loves exploring the garden, Peanut is predominantly an inside dog and not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods. To be honest, you couldn’t find a more mild-mannered and gentle pet than this sweet little boy.
