Hi, I’m Akira 💕

I’m a super playful girl with a heart full of love and energy that never seems to run out. If there’s a toy nearby—squeaky, bouncy, fluffy, or tug-worthy—I promise it will become my new favorite in about two seconds. I love to run, play, and make new dog friends (other dogs are the best!), and I’m always ready to share kisses and tail wags with anyone who stops by.

I came to BARC when I was just 3 months old, and I’ve grown up here waiting for my forever family. I don’t really understand why I’m still here, but I stay hopeful. Every day I dream about a home where I can play until I’m tired, curl up after a long day, and finally belong to someone who calls me theirs.

I promise I’ll bring joy, laughter, and lots of love into your life. I’m a sweet girl with so much to give—I just need someone to give me a chance. Maybe you’re the one I’ve been waiting for all this time 🐾
