ABOUT
🧡 Fluffy, goofy, and sweet as honey — meet Fergus, the gentle ginger giant of our Brave litter 🧡
Fergus is one of our special Brave Litter kittens — a group of tiny wildlings who came into care having never known human kindness. When they first arrived, they were all hiss, hide, and wide eyes at every sound. But with patience, love, and gentle care, Fergus has grown into a huge, gorgeous hunk of a kitten with a heart just as big.
This fluffy ginger boy is destined to be a big cat — with oversized paws, luxurious soft fur that will need regular brushing, and the kindest, goofiest nature you could hope for. He’s as sweet as honey underneath his initial scared hiss and is truly the definition of a gentle giant.
Fergus is also, well... not always the sharpest whisker in the bunch! If a kitten has rolled off the couch, got tangled in a spring toy, or been sneak-attacked by his sister Merida for the third time that day — it’s probably Fergus. But he takes it all in stride, blinking his big eyes and rumbling out a purr as if to say, “All good, I meant to do that.”
He adores playtime, especially wrestling with Merida (we’re pretty sure he lets her win) and chasing swishy stick toys until he runs out of puff. And when the creamy treat tubes come out, he’s front and centre, eager for his share.
While he’s still building his confidence, Fergus is learning that people mean good things — cheek scratches, cuddles, and comfort. He may hiss at first when startled, but it’s all bluff; a few gentle pats and he melts.
Fergus is looking for a patient home where he can continue to grow in confidence and be loved for his quirky, goofy, gentle self. He’s not going to be a lap cat on day one, but with time, love, and kindness, he’ll reward you with endless purrs, snuggles, and laughter.
Because he’s still a little shy with loud noises and fast movements, a quieter home or one with older children would be ideal for this handsome boy.
