About Big Al
Meet Big Al! He is the most beautiful biggest smooch! Big Al adores humans and is just looking for someone to shower him with affection. He will lean his whole body into you for pats. 🥰
He has the most handsome face, with a striking marking running down the length of his nose. 🧒
Big Al gets along with other dogs, but it’s people that he really loves and would do fine as an only dog. 🥇 He is not suited to a home with cats or other small animals though. 🐱🐭❌
He has lived in a quiet rural area so a perfect home for Big Al would be somewhere similar where it’s not too hustling and bustling. 🧡
Big Al is not your inner-city café dog; he’s more of a lounge lizard in a relaxing calm; bird song filled environment! 🙃
He would suit a family where the children are over 12 years. 👨👩👧👧
He needs a home where he can live and sleep inside with his family but have access to a secured well fenced (6ft) yard. 🏡
ASSISTED REHOMING
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal.
AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation from the successful applicant (of their choosing) to AINB in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
