Hi, I'm Lyra.

I'm a petite little black beauty with a big heart and a love for life’s simple pleasures. I adore my outings where I can explore, sniff, and enjoy a bit of sunshine. I don't need a large area to be content, as I happily make the most of any space I have, and find joy in every corner I can wander through.

When I've finished my exploring, I'll let you know it's time for cuddles by confidently trotting over and leaning my whole body into you for pats. My affectionate nature shines through in those moments, and it is impossible not to smile when I'm soaking up attention.

I may be small in size, but I have a bright and curious personality that makes me a delight to be around. I enjoy a good balance of adventure and relaxation, stretching my legs and exploring before settling in for quiet companionship.

I will make a wonderful companion for someone who values gentle affection and the company of a fun friend who does not ask for much, just a little space to explore, some soft pats, and someone to share her peaceful moments with. Could that be you?

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
