Simba & Milo - Bonded Brothers need a foster carer
About Simba & Milo - Bonded Brothers
🏡 Permanent Foster Home Needed – Simba & Milo - Bonded Brothers, 3 Years Old 🐾
In early 2025 Simba & Milo came heartbreakingly close to losing their lives. Both suffered acute kidney failure from a suspected toxin and spent two long weeks in hospital fighting to survive. With expert care and a whole lot of love, they pulled through – and now they’re stable, playful, and ready to live the good life they fought so hard for.
They’re now looking for a permanent foster home – somewhere quieter than their current chaotic foster home, with fewer cats, where they can soak up love, comfort, and peace for however long they have.
💚 About them:
• 3 years old – bonded pair (must stay together)
• Healthy and eating well
• Great with kids and dogs
• Okay with cats but a bit uppity
• No birds! (they’re very budgie-obsessed)
💉 Health notes:
Their kidney function is currently stable, but their long-term prognosis is unknown – they may have a year, or they may have ten. They’ll do best with someone experienced with (or open to learning about) kidney cats, who can love them for as long as they’re here.
You’ll need to be able to transport them to Blake’s Crossing Vet (their treating vet clinic) if needed.
🐱 Foster arrangement:
This is not an adoption – you’ll come on board with SA Cat Rescue as a permanent foster carer.
These brothers will remain SACR cats for life – loved, supported, and never without care.
All vet expenses are covered. You provide food and litter, with access to SACR support, discounted Royal Canin food, and donated supplies.
Interested? Message us to chat about the boys and see if you might be their purrfect match. 💚🐾
