About Popcorn
POPCORN was surrendered to Ark with other cats, from a farm. This girl also arrived pregnant. Popcorn was a loving mother to her kittens. All her babies have been adopted, now it’s Popcorns turn for a happy ending.
It’s hard to believe this girl arrived from a stray environment, isn’t she just beautiful. With beautiful light green eyes and a cream coloured coat, she is a cat that certainly stands out from the crowd.
She is extremely terrified of new people. Popcorn would be best suited as a working cat, where she can go about her duties catching critters. She will need to be kept in an enclosed environment for at least a month, possibly more if able to, so she is aware of where she is fed and stays in her safe space. Possibly a small enclosure in the barn where she is expected to be or setting up dog crates connected together for a cheaper alternative. She will need someone who will understand her cat boundaries when getting to know her and not to expect too much. Her foster carer is able to pat her, but we are not certain that she would allow anyone else.
While she won’t be inviting at first, she will certainly do the cat catching jobs you need.
