About Nova
Meet Nova! This young girl is looking for a carer or forever home as part of our assisted rehoming program.
She is spritely, playful and will make you laugh. 😄 She has a stunning red-brindle coat and is in lovely condition. 👍 Nova has never raced, as some other greyhounds have.
She loves people, but can be a little jumpy, so it’s best if she finds a home without toddlers but would suit older children (over 12y). 👨👩👧👧
She would benefit from some ongoing training to learn some basic boundaries. 🦮
She is only young and ready to learn! 🏆
Whilst she can be exuberant, like all greyhounds Nova does love to spend hours sleeping in her bed. 😴
She is great with other dogs 🐶✔ but would suit a home with no cats or other small animals. 🐱🐭❌
She needs an inside home where she has access to a well fenced (4-6 ft) secure property. 🏡
ASSISTED REHOMING
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal.
AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation from the successful applicant (of their choosing) to AINB in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
