Meet Polly!

If you are looking for a tiny ball of fun, look no further than our lovely Polly.

Small, but full of personality, Polly found herself in our care when she escaped home. Unfortunately, her owner did not pick her up and she has found herself looking for a new (and forever) home.

Speaking of escaping, Polly has a knack of finding small places to wiggle her way through, she knows how tiny she is and has the brains to follow through, so her new home will need a fully fenced and secure yard, to make sure there are no more escape attempts.

Polly is ball OBSESSED and loves running around with tennis balls in her mouth, even though they are bigger than her head. She loves a big run around the yard and any type of play. She is a little pocket rocket and would love daily walks and engaging in fun activities to keep her little brain active. When she is all tired out, she is very cuddly and sweet and would be happy to snooze by your side.

Polly does prefer slow and gentle handling. She wants people to understand, even though she is tiny and cute, that does not mean she always wants to be pat and picked up. She can be unsure when strangers engage in handling her so she would prefer consent-based interactions where she can feel in control and not overwhelmed. She is happy to live alongside other kids or dogs in the home, but again, children will need to be dog savvy to ensure they aren't handling her if she may not want to be!

As you can probably see from Polly's photos, she is in desperate need of a professional groom. Our lovely vet staff have cut all of her uncomfortable matts out of her fur, but she needs a good pamper. We are so excited to see her transformation!
