About Max
Love Border Collies?
Max could be your next heart dog!
Sure, he is young and impulsive and a little bit crazy, but he is also vibrant and enthusiastic, super smart, very affectionate and incredibly loyal.
Of course, Border Collies are not for everyone but for those of us who know, love and understand the breed, there is nothing better.
At just 8 months old, Max is still learning about life. He is still a silly puppy in many ways, and he does need reminding about his manners (mainly jumping up) but that is to be expected in a young exuberant boy of his age.
Max has been surrendered as his young family didn’t have enough time for him but he has been raised around small kids.
Since being in our care, Max has played nicely with other dogs, and he was fine on lead around the cats (but obviously safe and supervised interactions are needed).
Max loves people, he is clever, and food motivated, meaning that training is fun for both humans and Max alike. His willingness to make his humans happy means that he is an eager student and has potential to learn lots of cool tricks.
True to his breed, Max needs a home where he can be kept physically and mentally active. Young, energetic humans who would love a best buddy to share all of life’s adventures with a furry sidekick would be perfect.
Max has the makings of a great dog, and he is ready to find the humans who can share that journey with him.
Is Max your new best buddy?
