NOTE: You are unable to meet Coco until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Coco in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I MUST be allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is a MUST.
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn't home and a family that will take me out on daily walks. Trips to the beach/Park ect is highly recommended.
• TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as I can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence.


Things that I don't want in my new home:
• Young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. Older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock


My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle
• I can sit, shake hands & come
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I know my basic doggie commands
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• Unsure in new situations - more socialising is needed
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard. Leaving me some enrichment toys/treats and having another dog for company may help this.
