NOTE: You are unable to meet Biggie until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Biggie in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I MUST allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs once I get to sniff them but can bark at them before getting close enough to meet them which can be off putting to other dogs.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is a MUST
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• I MUST go to a home with another dog to keep me company along with a family that will treat me as apart of the family, taking me to lots of places with you, daily walks and snuggles inside would be the ideal home for me.
• I LOVE water and would love to have my very own clam pool to laze around in.

• SOCIALISATION is important. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I become a social and well adjusted dog.
• TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Young children although kids older than 10 would be fine with me
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock


My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I can sit, shake hands
• I have had some basic obedience training
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs.
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I LOVE the water and will splash about in my clam shell pool.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I love my toys so using them as a positive reward should make my training easier.
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard. Leaving me some enrichment toys/treats and having another dog to keep me company may help this.
• I am social with other friendly dogs however I will react if they are reactive to me, further socialisation
