Meet Felix,
Felix is one truly special cat — and not just because of his movie-star good looks! His charmingly cross-eyed gaze gives him a one-of-a-kind appearance and adds to his quirky personality. Because of this, his balance can sometimes be a little off, and he also seems to experience some vision and hearing difficulties. But don’t worry — Felix doesn’t let that hold him back one bit!
He’s adaptable and can fit into almost any household environment. Felix is open to meeting kids of any age, as long as they’re gentle and understanding of his unique needs. Once you get to know him, you’ll discover that he’s affectionate, sweet-natured, and absolutely adores being close to his people.
Felix loves pats, cuddles, and belly rubs, and he’ll happily soak up every bit of attention you have to give. He might not be the most energetic cat, but he enjoys the occasional playtime — especially with a feather wand. He’s friendly, curious, and loves to explore, especially if you’re right there beside him.
Felix is also quite the chatterbox! He loves to talk about his day and make sure you know he’s around. Mealtime can take him a moment — he just needs a little time to spot his food — but he’s not fussy at all.
When he’s happy, he’ll put on a show just for you — rolling around, doing headstands, and generally being the charming goof that he is. And when left alone, Felix will retreat to his bed and wait for you to come back (because he knows that you can't resist him). Felix is full of love, character, and personality, and he’s ready to share all of it with his special someone.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Felix would go living with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of his new owners.
Felix is not interested in being friends with other cats.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Felix has already experienced living on the streets and although he doesn't mind being outside, he most definitely should be inside where he is safe. If he is outside, it will increase his chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat he can live his best life possible.
Staff Comments: Felix is a one-of-a-kind cat with striking good looks and an adorable cross-eyed gaze that adds to his charm. His unique quirks, including some vision and hearing difficulties, don’t slow him down — they just make him even more endearing! He’s affectionate, gentle, and loves being cuddled, patted, and carried. Felix may be a little different, but that’s exactly what makes him so special.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
