Miss millie went on trial 16/8. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au ely, harry and little lucy. . . Millie is a tiny 12-18 month old bichon frise. She's a tiny teddy and weighs no more then 3. 2 kg. She love cuddles and being inside and is a real lap dog. Such a cutie!
millie's great with kids. She is currently living in a house hold with children ranging from 10 yrs old to 10 months and is great with our bub who loves playing with her and sharing her food. . . Millie has no worries with cats or other dogs. She's good in the car. She doesn't defend her food, so she is safe with children. She needs a daily walk for the exercise, socialisation, and mental stimulation. . . Millie was rescued from a local pound and doesn't seem to have had much training in her previous life. But she does come when called. . . . Millie is still a very young dog and likes to chew clothes pegs if she finds them. She will need to have plenty of chew toys and playtime. We always recommend doggie training classes for young dogs. It's a great bonding experience for dog and owner and helps with the dog's confidence. Your local vet probably offers classes or can point you in the right direction. . . We can't be positive about millie's breed but judging by her appearance we think she is mostly bichon frise or poodle, possibly mixed with maltese? she was not looking her best when these photos were taken straight from the pound, and she needs to go to the groomers as soon as we can book her in. Millie has a gorgeous curly coat which doesn't shed. She won't drop hair around your house or on your clothing and is suitable for people with allergies. But her lovely coat will need regular combing, bathing and clipping. Non-shedding dogs typically need professional clipping appproximately every 3 months and this will cost around $50, so you should be prepared for this if you get a non-shedding dog. . . Millie will need to go to a home where she is not left home alone all day, unless she has another young dog for company and a walk in the morning. She's an inside dog and sleeps inside. She is easy going and adaptable and would be fine with either a young family, or senior citizens or anyone in between. So long as she is given lots of love and attention and is treated like a member of the family.
