Darling boy Ricotta brings loads to the table - from stunning cream tabby looks, to a sweet and gentle soul. And speaking of tables, he's also got a real soft spot for mealtimes! (He's happy to eat on the floor though, if you insist.)
His sunny spirit really shines when he's in the throes of play with his brother Parmesan! The two of them spend hours wrestling, chasing through the halls and weaving figure-eights around your feet in perfect synchrony when it’s time to eat :) Their bond is heartwarming, and Ricotta would love to be adopted with his brother if you're looking for the purrfect pair! Ricotta's looking for a patient and adoring home where he'll be given the time he needs to settle in and feel secure. Chin scratches and lots of yummy treats are known to expedite this process!
Like all Maggie's pets, Ricotta is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm hoping for a calm, reasonably quiet home where I can find my paws at my own pace. In return, you’ll be rewarded with a loving, loyal little companion who'll melt your heart one purr at a time!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: ... is pretty balanced, I think! Playtime is heaps of fun (especially when I'm wrestling with my brother or chasing a bell on a string), but I'm just as content curled up in a cosy spot, snoozing the afternoon away.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I tend to observe from a safe distance rather than mingle when kids come to visit my foster home - so I reckon a family home with kind children aged 8+ (or a home without children) would be my best match. Gentle interactions and a calm environment will definitely help to expand my comfort zone!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm super keen to go to my forever home with my brother Parmesan, or to a household with another nice cat or two!
Though I haven't had much experience with dogs, a slow and careful introduction to your calm, cat-savvy one would go a long way to making things work. My gentle nature means I'll be happiest with other pets who are respectful and not too boisterous.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
