About Scout
Meet Scout, an endearing and highly affectionate young Jack Russell Terrier with a vibrant spirit and engaging personality. Born in October 2024 and weighing just 6.3 kgs, this sweet-natured pup will bring love and warmth to every moment.
Scout is great with children and other dogs, but will chase cats if they run.
He's house-trained. He's had basic training, making him a well-rounded addition to any home.
Equipped with good lead manners, he may show a little enthusiasm at first by pulling, but will quickly settle into a rhythm and walk on a loose lead. True to his Jack Russell nature, he's endlessly curious, and his keen sense of smell makes every walk a delightful sniff-fest.
His recall is solid within the safety of a house yard, although it can be tested by the allure of the great outdoors.
He’s a super little guard dog, but only barks if there’s something to bark at.
Scout would be ideally suited to an active home where someone is around most of the time to give him the abundant love, companionship and stimulation this little chap needs. And if there's another dog in the household, especially one that loves play and adventure as much as Bowie does, all the better!
He is definitely not suited to solitary life in the backyard. But speaking of backyards, he'd enjoy a spacious one.
As always, secure fencing is essential to prevent Scout demonstrating the escape-artist tendencies for which Jack Russells are renowned. Scout has quite a spring in his step so can leap a low fence with ease.
If you're seeking a dynamic and loving canine companion who will grow alongside your family and bring joy and laughter into your home, Scout might just be the perfect fit!
