About JayJay (66991)
Jayjay is a handsome Rottweiler mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He came to GAWS after his previous owners could no longer manage him, and he's now ready to find an experienced Rottweiler owner who can give him the structure, love, and attention he deserves. Friendly, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, Jayjay adores everyone he meets and forms strong bonds with those he knows best. True to his breed, he's smart, strong, and sometimes a little cheeky - which only adds to his charm! Jayjay would thrive in a home with adults or older children aged 12 and over, as he can be a bit boisterous in his excitement (and doesn't mind showing his love with a big jump or a slobbery kiss!). He enjoys his daily walks and, while strong on lead, walks beautifully on a halti harness and tires quickly after some exercise. He can be a little unsure and overwhelmed around other dogs, so Jayjay will need to be the only dog in the home to ensure he remains the centre of attention. With careful guidance, he can continue learning positive social skills around familiar, calm dogs - though dog parks, beaches, and daycare aren't his scene. Jayjay hasn't been tested with cats, but he's already mastered many of his basic cues and is always eager to learn new tricks, especially when treats are involved. If you're an experienced Rottweiler lover looking for your next loyal companion, Jayjay is ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and plenty of cuddles. Jayjay is currently 58kg and will need owners who can physically handle a dog of this size.
