About Jett
Jett is a sweet little Maltese Shihtzu looking for his forever home. Weighing just over 2kg, he might be small in size, but he’s got a big, loving heart!
This adorable pup looks a lot like the one on the Chum cans, with his black eyes and jet black coat (it is jet black, not greyish as it seems in the photos) that parts down the middle of his back – and he’s every bit as cute in real life.
Jett adores everyone he meets: he gets along beautifully with the other dogs and the cats in his foster home.
He’s the perfect little companion for all of life’s adventures – whether that’s a stroll around the neighbourhood, a cosy cuddle on the couch, or a ride in the car (one of his favourite things!) Jett also enjoys his baths and doesn’t mind grooming at all. Even when the occasional clover burr needs clipping, he stays calm and cooperative.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving friend for the humans in your family as well as a playful friend for another gentle dog, Jett may be the one for you.

No known pre-existing conditions. Jett passed his vet checks with flying colours.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer a dog.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week, what you can offer a dog in terms of activities, stimulation and outings.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage.
Jett is in care at Tamworth NSW - you will need to arrange collection or transport if you are successful. There is a regular road transport service from Tamworth as well as daily flights.
We DO NOT hold animals, so please do not apply if you are not quite ready to adopt.
Our adoption fees are to cover costs associated with the dog as well as to help others in our care who may need expensive vet procedures etc. so our fees are NOT NEGOTIABLE.
