About Ziggy
Attention all large dog breed lovers!
Meet Ziggy, a sweet and gentle canine companion who will quickly win your heart with her loyal, affectionate nature. At 43 kg, she possesses a friendly disposition, making her an ideal match for a home that welcomes other dogs, chickens, and even chicks. Ziggy has an extraordinary ability to gently take food from your hand and will patiently wait for her dinner command—showing her well-mannered temperament.
Ziggy is known for her protective instincts, as she will give a bark when someone knocks on your door, offering peace of mind and security. This makes her an excellent guardian for your home and yard. When it comes to leisure activities, she enjoys playing with her squeaky ball and soft toys, treating them gently and without destruction. Despite her playful nature, she also cherishes her moments of solitude, preferring to lounge on the grass or rest in her own bed inside at night.
While Ziggy thrives in an environment filled with love and attention, she's particularly suited for someone who is home often, especially initially, as she transitions into her new home. Her escape artist tendencies mean that a secure, high-fenced yard is essential, ensuring she explores safely under your watchful eye. She's quite the communicator, letting you know when she needs a toilet break, and her nighttime routine indoors is seamless.
Ziggy balances affection with her independence, making her adaptable for both active owners and those who understand her need for a bit of alone time in the sun. If you're looking for a companion who equally treasures companionship and quiet moments, Ziggy is ready to bring warmth and joy to your life.
