About Diesel
Meet Dude!
And he really is an awesome dude! This fun young guy is full of Goof-Ball vibes & is a big hunk of love. After a bit of a rocky start, he is now looking forward to being a family guy!
In the mornings he is full of bounce & vitality, ready for his morning walk. He dons his harness & steps out for a tour of the neighbourhood, often with some of his shelter dog mates joining him for a group venture.
Currently just under 30kg, Dude can occasionally be a bit jumpy, normally when he is so excited to see his human friends! Small children may be knocked over like bowling pins if interactions are not supervised properly.
Dude would love to be part of an active family, preferably living indoors with his favourite people. Dude believes that life is about having fun & he's hoping for a lifetime full of it once he finds his Forever Home.
Dude would certainly benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training. If we reward the behaviours that we like, dogs will try to repeat those behaviours to access the reward again. Remember, consistency & repetition are key to successful training. Make it fun, break open those treats & build an unbreakable bond between you & Dude as you learn about each other!
Dude has the potential to be an awesome companion; do you want to take his paw & help guide him in his next chapter?!
