About Hazel
Are you looking for a sweet loving little lady then please keep reading and make sure you apply for me!
I am a Mini Foxie x and I am 2 years and 8 months old
I came into care as a private surrender and when the rescue got me settled, they noticed that I had a little secret - I was pregnant - the rescue took good care of me and my fur babies and made sure they have all gone to their forever homes and the focus is now on me.
I also came into care with a nasty cherry eye that needed surgery. The rescue made sure that this was completed, and my foster mum says that I'm just stunning now! The rescue did all my vet work and I'm ready for my fur ever home!
My foster mum says I'm a sweet little girl who whilst nervous when first meeting people loves life and loves my friends (the 2- and 4-legged kind!)
I am one of those little ones that loves do everything with a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye.
I currently weigh 6.05kgs
I have been described as a little ball of fun and my favorite things to do in the world is play with other fur kids, toys / play with them and socialize especially if there is a couch or a tile floor for me to play on, or a nice bit of grass outside to play on, but I am more of a inside girl with my humans and fur friends then a stay outside all day type of girl.
I currently live with some kids and happily play with them.
However, because I like to be a lady of contradiction - if your outside - I'm outside - sticky beaking and helping you.
I love being a part of the family – up in your grill, on your lap and just basically anywhere the family is as fun is to be had!
I am currently with other dogs in care and would happily be in a home with another dog who would let me play with them, or if I had humans that weren't out of the house for 8+ hours a day - I don't have separation anxiety I am just a small young dog who loves life and loves to follow my humans around!
I love to spend my days playing with toys, balls and tug of war with my fur siblings or curled up on the couch with
I would love to sleep with my humans on their bed at night or a kid's bed. I love to sleep really close to my human and my foster dad mentions something about a suction cap not a dog! I also love to doona dive and sleep under the covers.
I am toilet trained but will need a few days of reinforcing my toilet training.
I am untested with cats

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
