About Twistie
Meet Twistie, the embodiment of resilience and joy who is ready to bring her boundless zest for life to her new family. This loveable pup has an infectious spirit that reminds us all to cherish each moment. Twistie is a girl who's been through a lot, but she continues to shine brightly with her enduring positivity and lovable charm.
Despite her past, Twistie embodies loyalty and love. She is genuinely motivated by affection and, of course, the occasional treat. Her head tilt adds to her endearing personality, making her even more unique. Twistie remains unphased by her past experiences, focusing instead on her love for life and the people who show her kindness.
Twistie's days are filled with tail wags, warm cuddles, and an ever-present curiosity for the world around her. Her resilience has transformed her into a loyal companion who cherishes every interaction, whether it's a walk in the park or a cosy afternoon snooze by your side.
Twistie was thrown out a car window when she was just 4 weeks old. She has now healed and has a full vet clearance however she does have a slight head tilt which does not affect her in the slightest
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to welcome into your home, Twistie may be the perfect match for you. Fueled by a strong sense of love and a penchant for snacks, Twistie will reward a new family with companionship, ensuring smiles and cuddles all year round.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
