About Penny
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Lots of love to give this beautiful lass
From the moment Penny arrived in my home, a little shy and confused, I knew it would be fine! She is the same age as my own greyhound girl and Penny has been a pleasure to foster - there have been no issues over anything.
Don’t take any notice of Penny’s age – she loves her two walks a day and can easily do an hour-long outing! She has no issues interacting with other dogs and has meet a variety of breeds of dogs of all sizes without incident. She is a delight to walk on lead – with no pulling. She is very easy to train as she always aims to please you. She has the occasional zoomie and will also happily join in group dog play.
She is curious and affectionate with new people she meets. She is very smoochy and gentle with all sized humans. Penny just love, love, loves to be brushed – all that attention! She has grown in confidence while in foster and she is now so easy to be around.
She loves to ride in the car and can jump easily onto back seat or into an SUV boot. She does steps and stairs without hesitation.
Penny is not interested in soft toys but loves to chase balls. She has been left home alone for a few 5-6 hour stints with no problem. Penny was not bothered by recent thunderstorms or noisy trucks etc. She is toilet-trained and sleeps through the night without issue.
Penny would ideally suit a working from home or retired, a more active person, or a family with older children. This delightful girl will make someone very happy, and she will reciprocate all your love and attention!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
