Hi, I'm Hugo!

I'm an active little dog who loves a good play with canine pals. I did not have the best start to life, where I lived was very crowded and we were all kept for breeding, not as pets, so we are a bit on the back foot when it comes to people and being super social. I will need an owner who understands a bit about timid dogs, and an owner willing to go slow, have patience, and allow me to approach when we are ready. I'm still quite a young guy and need ongoing socialization and confidence building in the home, gradually increasing my world is a great way for us to learn and feel safe at the same time. I would be best suited to a home with both indoor and outdoor access so I can keep practicing my toilet training, another social dog to help me feel part of the family, a home with older children (15yrs or older), secure fencing, and an owner who is ready to provide all the love they can give. If you think a little dog like me could be your new mate, pop in and see me! You will need to bring the current dog with you & all other human members of the household so I can meet everyone.
