About Bear
Meet Bear - Your Future Furry Best Friend! 🐾
Bear is a beautiful two-year-old domestic long hair with a luxurious grey and white coat and a heart as big as his name. This desexed male is a gentle soul who may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he feels safe and secure, his true personality shines through-and it's full of charm!
Bear is a fun-loving boy who enjoys playtime, especially with toys he can chase or bat around. He has a curious nature and likes to explore his surroundings at his own pace. Once he's comfortable, Bear becomes quite the chatterbox and won't hesitate to let you know when he's in the mood for attention, cuddles, or just a good old conversation. His vocal, expressive nature makes him a wonderful companion who'll always keep you company.
Though he can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, Bear builds strong bonds with those who show him patience and kindness. With a little time and a lot of love, he'll become your loyal and affectionate friend-curling up next to you for naps, following you around the house, and offering gentle purrs as a thank-you.
Bear would thrive in a calm and loving home where he can feel safe and take his time to settle in. He's also well-suited to a household with other friendly cats. Bear enjoys the company of feline friends and would likely appreciate having a cat companion or two to share his space with.
If you're looking for a sweet, talkative, and playful cat who gets along well with other cats and just needs a little time to warm up, Bear might be your perfect match. Come meet him-you might just find your new best friend.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
