Until recently this handsome little gentleman was living with an older woman who loved him dearly. Unfortunately she had to move into a smaller home and was unable to take him with her so she made the tough decision to find him a new home.

Luckily one of our amazing foster carers saw her cry for help on social media and was happy to look after George until a new home could be found. He comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Since arriving in his new foster home George has settled in flawlessly and been the perfect house guest. He has shown himself to be sweet, affectionate, incredibly loving and absolutely adores people. He has even started sleeping on the daughters bed with her at night.

It's very sweet.

George enjoys a pat and a scratch, enjoys a cuddle on the couch, is happy to be picked up and smooched and just generally loves being around people. He loves to laze away his days snoozing by a sunny window, or on a comfy sofa and is always happy to greet you at the door when you come home.

While he has spent time previously in a house with another cat, we think he would prefer to be the only cat in the household. He seems to prefer having his own space and has really blossomed since arriving in a pet-free home.

He is one of those cats who is very people focused or people social.

George is a dreamy, low-maintenance little guy, who not only has good looks on his side, but he is also very sweet, very affectionate and super friendly.

He absolutely adores bedtime snuggles with his favourite person, where he will keep you company all night long and even cuddle up next to you and put a paw on your arm to show how much he loves you.

If you're looking for an insanely affectionate, fluffy ball of love then this is the cat for you.

Gorgeous George is approximately 5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
