Meet Skylar – Sweet, Smart and Ready to Be Someone’s Whole World 💕 Ready for new home on the 27/10/25!

Beautiful Skylar is a 5-year-old Staffy who came to us with her son Ned. She’s been a wonderful mum, but now it’s time for her to hang up her mum duties and finally be the one who’s pampered and adored.

Despite her age, Skylar is full of energy and love for life! She’s playful, bright, and has that classic Staffy personality — loyal, affectionate, and convinced she’s half human. Her favourite pastime? Carrying a tennis ball everywhere she goes — even on her walks! After playtime, she loves nothing more than curling up on her bed for a good snuggle.

Skylar has great indoor manners, listens to most commands, and is getting better on lead walks each day. She’s super smart, eager to please, and will make an amazing best mate for someone who appreciates her gentle, fun-loving nature.

She does have a few quirky traits — for instance, she’s a little spooked by planes and will always check the sky before heading outside after a nap. It’s just part of her unique charm and something a patient, understanding owner can easily reassure her through.

Skylar would love a home where she can be the centre of attention. She’s fine being around her son but is ready for her own space now. She may also enjoy the company of a friendly desexed male dog, pending a meet and greet at the pound.

Her adoption fee is $450, which includes all her vet work — desexing, vaccination, NSW registration, microchipping, and flea/worming.
