About Leia STA014315 & Luke STA014316
Meet Leia and Luke, a beautiful sibling duo eager to find a patient and loving human. These inseparable siblings entered our care as frightened strays, but their bond has been their strength. Together, they are looking for a calm and nurturing environment where they can truly blossom.
Leia and Luke are both incredibly sweet but understandably timid and nervous given their past experiences. They need a quiet home without children or canines, allowing them to feel safe and secure. They will require a family willing to invest time and patience to help them adjust and feel at ease.
A household that understands the beauty of building trust at a cat's own pace would be ideal for this brother-sister pair. As they get to know you and become comfortable in their surroundings, these shy kitties will bring immense love and gratitude into your life.
If you can open your heart to these lovable felines, offering them the reassurance and care they need, Leia and Luke will surely reward you with deep affection and companionship. Their journey may require a bit of time, but the connection and trust you'll foster together will be worth every moment.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
