Boatman

Loving, trainable and enthusiastic!

Boatman is a super fun dog. He is athletic, can run and jump, loves learning new tricks and will do anything to be a good boy! This dog doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

Boatman is smart and loves people and dogs alike, although having to choose, he’ll stay with his person. He plays respectfully with small and large dogs but will come when called.

He likes to travel with you in the car and has settled for one foot on your leg if he can, but will stay quiet in the back as well. He can sit, shake, wait for food, learning spin and fetch…He is very gentle taking treats.

He is ready to learn a lot more!

With his willingness, and someone who is consistent, he will be an amazing companion.

He is super athletic, would win any long jump competition, and can run super fast. He also absolutely loves zonking out on the couch, and sleep for hours. If that could be on your lap? Even better…

In his time here he has shown to be brave and independent. He likes to drive in our RTV, loves watching the tools we use, he hasn’t shown any drive to chase our parrot, chickens or horses. (I would expect him to be fine with cats after introduction).

He is quite gentle and sensitive even with visiting children but can get excited when he sees you so can jump, and tap you to show he loves you.

Boatman is very ready to go to his forever home. Someone who is looking for a dog to be active with but needs to leave the house as well, would be perfect for him.
