About Kura
Hello, I am Kura and I would love to tell you a little about myself.
When I first arrived in care I spent a lot of time hiding in one corner. I was quiet and unsure and everything felt a little too big for me. Over time I discovered that people can be warm and kind. Now I have grown into a confident boy who loves to be part of everything. I greet my foster carer at the door every time they come home. I walk with them from room to room just to make sure they are safe and so I can be close. I talk a lot and I enjoy a chat whenever someone has a moment to listen. My purr is soft and steady and it fills the whole room when I am happy.
I adore affection and I lean into every touch. I am gentle with children and I have been calm and patient with little ones and older ones too. If I need a break I simply wander off to a quiet spot. I have not met a dog yet but I think I could live with a calm and friendly one who understands that I may need time to feel comfortable. I enjoy other cats and I would be happy with a feline friend although I would also be very content as the only pet in the home. I just love connection and I give it easily once I feel safe.
I have a single white whisker and everyone who meets me smiles when they notice it. I am proud of it. It makes me feel like a gentleman dressed in a tiny bit of formal wear. My litter habits are excellent although I can be a very enthusiastic digger so an enclosed tray keeps everything tidy. My foster carer says I am an everything cat. Some days I am a lap cat. Other days I climb onto a shoulder or stretch across a tummy. At night I may curl by your feet or place one paw on you so I know we are together. I simply enjoy being close in any way that feels right in the moment.
When I play I love my tall cat tree and any game that lets me chase a feather wand. I also like to sit nearby and watch the world while you relax or read. When I move to my new home I will need a small safe space where I can settle at my own pace. Once I understand that I am loved and that this home is forever I will become the same affectionate and gentle boy that I am now. If you choose me you will be choosing a loyal companion who gives his whole heart. I am ready for my forever family and I cannot wait to meet them.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
