This beautiful little lady is sweet, affectionate, loving and will start warming your heart with her charm the second she steps out of her cat carrier.

She was well loved by her previous owners but sadly they had to move suddenly and could not take her with them so the reached out to us to find her a new home. She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Shikky absolutely adores people and will always want to be part of whatever you are doing. Everything is a team sport. She loves climbing onto your lap the minute you sit down and will only move when you have to eventually get up. She’s a sweet girl who craves attention and affection.

She's also very confident and will not waste anytime wandering around your home and marking everything as hers. The second she stepped out of her carrier in her foster home her charming personality was on display and she was all purrs and cuddles.

Shikky loves a pat and a scratch, will happily curl up on your lap the second you sit down, enjoys being picked up and cuddled and will sleep on your bed if you let her. She really is the definition of a velcro cat who just loves love.

She has grown up in a home with 2 dogs and another cat so she is very pet social. In fact she was not at all intimidated and decided that she was the boss of everyone. She would often be found curled up with her foster brother Mazzy.

Although she does get jealous when Mazzy gets too much attention and will storm off into another room to sulk. Such a princess haha.

Shikky would do really well as an only cat who could soak up all of her humans attention but would also be well suited to a home that already has pets. She would make the perfect addition to almost any household.

Shikky is approximately 1.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
