About Ridge - 14 Week Old Ridgeback X
Ridge is a sweet and loveable boy who is ready to find his perfect family. Ridge’s personality is quiet, playful and cuddly! He is his happiest when he is soaking up cuddles with his humans.
Ridge is a willing and trainable boy, he is very food orientated which assists with his training. Ridge has learnt to sit and is learning to wait patiently for his food. He is also developing his skills coming to you when called, however that shouldn’t be an issue as he will be your shadow everywhere you go. Ridge has started the toilet training fundamentals and is a good learner.
Ridge loves playing with other dogs, whether it be rumbling, chasings or a good game of tug.
Ridge’s perfect family is a loving and patient home to help with his ongoing training and development as he grows and matures. Ridge sleeps in his crate overnight with his siblings.
He will be best suited to a family with older kids and people who are wanting to include him in their world. Ridge would benefit from a fur sibling to play with and gain confidence from, or a family who is home more often than not!
His ideal yard will need to fully enclosed and with secure fencing to keep him safe.
Ridge is suited to kids over 8 years old.

Ridge’s adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. He has been vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
Ridge is in foster care in Anna Bay, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
