About Scamp
Meet Scamp!
Scamp is our new little fire-cracker at the Bundaberg shelter! This gorgeous little guy has been settling in very well, making dog friends & getting lots of fuss.
When his owner became too unwell to care for him, Scamp found himself in shelter which can be a very confusing & overwhelming experience for dogs. Scamp, however, was super keen to make friends quickly & buddied up with another dog almost immediately for a crazy play-date!
Jack Russells are a very popular small breed of dog & it is worth noting that they have high energy levels & rely on a high level of exercise and stimulation. They are incredibly intelligent & tend to thrive most when given jobs to do, such as learning tricks, going to agility classes or competing in other dog sports such as frisbee.
A bored Jack Russell will often find its own entertainment so be prepared to keep this pup busy with both mental & physical enrichment. Daily exercise by going out for walks & sniffaris is a good way to drain them of excess energy. Scamp, like most terriers, very much enjoys playing with toys & he will also happily entertain himself with them too.
Scamp is a playful, busy, smart, sociable little guy who will make a fabulous companion as long as his needs are met. He needs secure fencing & be allowed to live indoors with his new family.... terriers particularly enjoy tunnelling under the doona!
Do you have a Scamp sized hole in your life? He's right here waiting for you!
