About Bindi
Meet Bindi, a 1 year old border collie x with a fun and goofy personality who just wants to be right by your side. She tried her luck at being a sheep dog but was a little too silly to take the job seriously!
Nothing makes Bindi happier than hanging out with her humans – whether you’re adventuring, pottering, working or chilling, Bindi is in! This girl has so much love to give, and she loves a cuddle.
Bindi can be a bit shy at first with new humans and dogs but warms up after appropriate introductions. She gets along well with her foster siblings (particularly her foster sister who has the same love for life as she does). She has been tested with cats and enclosed chickens.
She’s an active girl who absolutely loves her walks, adventures and training, but she has a good off-switch when it’s time to chill.
Bindi is looking for active humans who will give her plenty of mental and physical stimulation, allow her inside as part of the family, and include her in their daily lives. Bindi needs a human to be with her more often than not or who can take her to work with them. Bindi will need to go to a home with at least one other active, playful dog who can keep up with her antics.
If you think you are a good match for Bindi, send us details of the life you can provide her.
Bindi is located in TAS.
Medical notes
Bindi has an old fracture through her left hip joint and her pelvis and hips not quite symmetrical. Current treatment is a 4 week course of Cartrophen, followed by monthly injections to be assessed and monitored by Vet. Bindi is still an active girl and not slowed down by her diagnosis. In fact, exercises such as swimming will help build muscle tone in her injured leg.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
