Meet Paden!
Paden's journey hasn't been the easiest - he came into care as a stray, bravely recovering from tick paralysis. At first, shelter life felt a bit overwhelming for him, but since moving to a quieter space, this handsome boy has truly started to relax and reveal his gentle, social side.
He now enjoys wandering around the room, rubbing up against legs, and soaking up soft pats at his own pace. Calm, gentle attention and chicken treats (his absolute favourite!) are the key to his heart.
One of the most endearing things about Paden is his love for kittens. He shares his space with a few, and he absolutely adores them - snuggling up for naps, grooming them tenderly, and offering quiet companionship. It's clear he finds comfort and joy in their presence.
Paden is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can continue to build confidence and feel safe. A household with older children or teens who can read his cues and give him space when needed would be ideal.
With time, kindness, and a few tasty snacks, Paden will reward you with trust, affection, and the joy of watching him blossom into the loving companion he's meant to be.
